InfoComm 2023 Thrums With Excitement

InfoComm 2023 brought together the commercial AV industry for a vibrant week in Orlando, Fla. The trade show showcased incredible technology innovations and boasted a wide-ranging education program. Moreover, InfoComm 2023 featured numerous networking events throughout the June 10 to 16 show dates.

Total registrants for InfoComm 2023 reached 36,639. The show welcomed 29,325 verified attendees, representing a remarkable 115 countries. Indeed, international attendance made up some 20% of the overall number. In addition, 37% of show-goers were first-time attendees. Finally, more than 2,000 unique individuals participated in continuing education as part of their show experience.

InfoComm 2023 Attracts 700 Exhibitors

On the trade-show floor, 700 exhibitors showcased commercial AV products and solutions across 358,700 net square feet in the West Concourse of the Orange County Convention Center. This footprint gave InfoComm 2023 attendees plenty to explore for the three days that exhibits were open.

In addition, scores of AV professionals seeking to earn their Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) credential took their CTS exam at InfoComm 2023. Indeed, a total of 156 professionals earned a CTS credential at the show. More specifically, 112 earned their CTS, 27 attained CTS-D (Design) and 17 attained CTS-I (Installation). “It’s been an incredible week at InfoComm 2023,” David Labuskes, CTS, CAE, RCDD, CEO of AVIXA, enthuses, remarking on “…the power of such creative minds [coming] together to show off pro AV solutions that enhance our world. He also notes how inspirational it is to witness an industry evolving in real time. “I know attendees will head home with countless new ideas and business connections,” Labuskes declares, “[feeling] supercharged for months to come.”

So Many Highlights

Rochelle Richardson, CEM, senior vice president of expositions and events, AVIXA, expresses equal enthusiasm. “There were so many highlights from the show,” she reflects. “If you ask 10 different attendees, you’ll surely get 10 different fantastic answers.” Indeed, she lists these among the highlights: innovative products and solutions, experiential components, education and integrated experience tours. Richardson adds, “There are numerous people who work together to make a big show like InfoComm a success: exhibitors, sponsors, attendees, speakers, media, the Orange County Convention Center, Freeman and the AVIXA staff.” She closes by thanking each of them for their hard work and dedication to the show.

During InfoComm 2023, Commercial Integrator was out in force, covering the new product introductions and networking with key industry stakeholders. Exhibits will be open from June 12 to 14. The Las Vegas Convention Center will play host again for InfoComm 2024.
