Legrand, North America recently introduced C2G as the company’s newest associated brand, expanding the leadership of its Data Communications division by “providing building infrastructure solutions with products designed to support data center, building network and audio/video applications,” according to a company announcement.
The C2G brand joins Legrand’s multiple brands and product lines including Ortronics, Quiktron, and Electrorack.
“Establishing C2G as a brand of Legrand will help to grow awareness of Legrand in the IT distribution channel and better represent C2G’s expanded line of solutions in the markets and channels we serve,” said Nathan Bartholomew, VP of marketing for Legrand Data Communications, in a press release. “These changes give us better market position by aligning with a single, strong, global brand—Legrand.” [related]
C2G’s transition to a brand of Legrand represents the next step in an integration process that began in 2014, when C2G first joined Legrand’s Data Communications division. As a brand of Legrand, C2G’s offering of products and solutions now includes:
- Physical infrastructure solutions including, cabinets, racks, cable management, and Wiremold raceway
- Power management products and solutions like power cords, power strips, and Wiremold Plugmold.
- An expanded range of transceivers, DAC cables, and other data connectivity products and solutions
“This expanded offering of products and solutions joins C2G’s existing offering of audio/video & PC, data connectivity, physical infrastructure, and power management solutions,” said Bartholomew. “Being a brand of Legrand allows C2G to better represent who we are, as well as better represent the new products and solutions that we are now able to deliver to our customers and partners.
