SoundTube Entertainment, the Lenexa, Kan.-based, provider of commercial audio solutions, has named Peter Melvin as its new vice president of commercial audio products. Known for his extensive experience and proven track record in the AV industry, Melvin will focus on driving SoundTube’s market growth and fostering strategic partnerships, according to the company.
Melvin brings a wealth of leadership experience from his tenure at prominent AV companies. During his time at Herman Pro AV, then SoundTube’s largest distributor, the Herman family blossomed to become one of the fastest growing AV companies in the industry, says SoundTube. At IAVI, a national pro AV distributor, Melvin oversaw a period of remarkable expansion, helping the team achieve a fourfold increase in annual revenue within just three years, says SounTube.

Outside of work, Melvin enjoys a wonderful life in Healdsburg, Calif. with his wife Melissa and their rescue doodle, Gracie Lou. He is known as the purveyor of fun, loves cigars and is an avid pickleball enthusiast.
