The SDVoE Alliance, a nonprofit consortium of technology providers collaborating to standardize the adoption of Ethernet to transport AV signals in professional AV environments, has awarded Universal AV, a European-based, audiovisual integration specialist, as the latest SDVoE Certified Design House. This certification highlights Universal AV’s commitment to delivering audiovisual solutions and enhancing user experiences through the utilization of SDVoE-based technology across various technological landscapes.
With many manufacturers now providing AV-over-IP (AVoIP) equipment, the landscape of audiovisual integration is increasingly diverse. While brand-specific products are prevalent, Universal AV excels in curating a range of products from different manufacturers to meet the unique design and budgetary needs of each client. This approach ensures the best possible outcomes for every project. As a result, the SDVoE Alliance provides Universal AV with the ability to select interoperable solutions, ensuring the best product for each function. The SDVoE Certified Design House program is an extension of the SDVoE Certified Design Partner initiative and is available online. It recognizes experts in designing SDVoE systems that leverage the scalability and performance benefits of AVoIP. To earn this certification, companies must ensure that at least 25% of their technical staff hold the SDVoE Certified Design Partner certification, demonstrating their comprehensive knowledge and skills in the field.
Systems integrators interested in applying for SDVoE Alliance’s Certified Design House status can visit the SDVoE Alliance’s website. Once qualified, companies can begin utilizing the SDVoE Certified Design House credentials in their marketing and communication.
