DSE 2014 Attracts 4,000 Attendees

Show will move to Las Vegas Convention Center and be pushed back to March in 2015.

More than 4,000 people attended the 2014 Digital Signage Expo, including people from 67 countries around the world. Combined with more than 1,800 people representing more than 200 exhibitors, the three-day show brought almost 6,000 people to Vegas.

About 42 percent of the attendees were end users and almost 30 percent of people at the show came from outside the U.S., representing Canada, Mexico, Brazil, South Korea, Japan, Columbia, China, the United Kingdom, Australia and Taiwan.

Among the 200-plus exhibitors covering 70,000 net square feet of show space, 56 were exhibiting for the first time and 44 were from international markets. The space represented a 13 percent jump from 2013.

The 2015 show will be March 10-12 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The show is being pushed back a month next year to help accommodate travelers and attendees who were hampered by winter weather in this year’s show and previous DSEs.

The move to the convention center will also allow DSE organizers to add more education, says Chris Gibbs, president and COO of ExpoNation, which produces DSE.
