WALL-SMART: We have been exhibiting at ISE since the establishment of WALL-SMART, and it’s always great to come back, especially for ISE’s 20th birthday. We’re excited to see this year’s new products from the partner manufacturers we work with, meet our distributors and integrators and listen to market needs.
Commercial Integrator: Arguably, WALL-SMART’s new line of Universal Access Point Mounts is one of the most impactful launches in company history. Tell us about the simple, straightforward way they can be used to hide Wi-Fi access points from view.
WALL-SMART: The Universal Access Point Ceiling Mounts make hiding a Wi-Fi access point (AP), an essential piece of technology, easier than ever. The demand came from the field. People wanted to have a solution that is both functional and visually pleasing. Users usually hide the APs, making maintenance and Wi-Fi network coverage difficult. The outcome is a clean installation flush with the ceiling, leaving the space free of unwanted clutter.
Commercial Integrator: Since Commercial Integrator writes for and caters to an integrator-centric audience, we’d like to know how the new line of Universal Access Point Mounts simplifies the specification process for integrators, as well as architects, designers, and other stakeholders.

Commercial Integrator: What sizes/varieties do the new Universal Access Point Mounts come in? What kind of installation hardware is included?
WALL-SMART: The Universal Access Point Flush Mount comes in three sizes (S, M and L; for dimensions, see website). They will fit just about any AP device in the market. There are two versions: New Construction and Retrofit. These are for installing in new and existing drywall, respectively. The mounts feature a magnetic back plate for easy mounting and inspection of the AP device,
