Here’s a closer look at each of the three educational sessions:

  • Introduction to Dante: A training session designed for integrators who are unfamiliar with the format, this course features Level 1 and Level 2 certification training, along with interactive workstations to practice the concepts covered during the session. Some of the topics covered include basic networking concepts; how to create small-scale network redundancy, clocking, latency, and multicast.
  • Dante Level 3 Certification: This course was developed for integrators that have completed the Level 1 and Level 2 training classes. The company says Level 3 training provides integrators with a more comprehensive level of training through its advanced networking concepts and best practices for using the platform on mixed-use networks. Additionally, Level 3 training also provides troubleshooting techniques for advanced problem solving in the field.
  • Optimizing Your Dante Network: This course provides hands-on training to intermediate and advanced educated integrators. In this course, integrators will cover networking fundamentals, IP addressing techniques, optimizing network resilience, tips for integrating audio networks with IT infrastructure, broadcast vs. multicast, and best practices for networking security.

Dante Domain Manager provides additional levels of functionality to audio systems such as user authentication, role-based security and audit capabilities.

“The number of licensees that have upgraded their products to support Domain Manager is truly exciting and speaks to the value they see in it for their customers,” says Joshua Rush, senior VP of marketing.

“We expect to see another large wave of products announcing support for Domain Manager at InfoComm in June.”

Dante Domain Manager is a virtualized application that runs on Windows and Linux desktop and server platforms.

The solution features a web-based interface and provides a new software layer that integrators can employ to configure, control and scale AV systems under a unified dashboard.
