More About Crestron 70 Series Touchscreens

The Crestron 70 Series on-wall and tabletop touchscreens feature an industrial design with a thin bezel and black and white finishes. The wall-mount version is available in 5”, 7”, and 10” sizes, supporting both mullion and glass-mount methods for a range of bespoke architectural designs.

Crestron’s tabletop version is available in 7” and 10” sizes and features a cast aluminum enclosure designed for today’s modern spaces.

The Crestron 70 Series proximity sensor detects motion to wake the high-resolution screen up upon approach and can provide additional feedback to the broader room system. Native support for H.265, H.264, and MJPEG formats allows the Crestron 70 Series to display live streaming video from an IP camera, a streaming encoder, or a DigitalMedia switcher.

The Crestron 70 Series touchscreens are equipped with wi-fi support in the 7” and 10” models and light sensors and algorithms auto-adjust the screen brightness. Rounding out the experience is a new customizable video screen saver to match the space or provide corporate branding.

Crestron’s new 70 Series Touch Screens also enable touchless control. Utilizing a built-in Bluetooth beacon and the new Crestron ONE mobile app, employees and guests in any workplace can control room technology through their personal devices.

Crestron ONE automatically detects and extends the functionality of the 70 Series touchscreen to a mobile device, securely controlling everything from lighting and shading to presentation displays.

The Crestron 70 Series touchscreens can be remotely configured, deployed, and managed at scale through XiO Cloud, a Crestron service that provides building and space intelligence while enabling remote operations.

Support and technology management teams can control any touchscreen, provide live end-user assistance, push software and firmware updates, or confirm room status without needing to be on-site. With the capability to send data back to the cloud, organizations have even more insight to device and space usage.

The Crestron 70 Series Touch Screens will be available to ship starting Oct. 31.
