When springtime hits in the pro AV industry, integrators tend to be laser-focused on the upcoming InfoComm trade show. However, the Sapphire Marketing Roadshow with stops in Boston and New York is another professional AV exhibition in the spring – albeit a much smaller one – that allows for close-up meetings with approximately 15 exhibitors serving both the commercial and residential integration markets.
The Sapphire Marketing Roadshow in Boston took place April 25-26 at Boston Marriott Burlington where 15 exhibitors showed off products and offered consultation for 350 registered attendees.

The next stop will be Sapphire Marketing’s 2018 NYC Roadshow, which will take place May 16-17 at Midtown Loft & Terrace in Manhattan, 267 5th Avenue.

“They’re very, very strong in commercial. I think they’re a great way for us to get into the commercial market and make James a well-known brand in that industry as well.”
Another exhibitor, Nicos Syrimis, marketing and business development and operations manager for Silicon Core, echoed the value of the event, particularly in Boston. The Northeast, he said, “is one of our largest markets.
The Boston area is particularly interesting; we have several installations in this area already and we’re working with a number of new customers.
So this event allows us to invite our customers and show them our latest technology.”
