Kramer’s nifty little VIA Pad for its VIA Collage and ConnectPRO solutions puts a nice amount of functionality into something the size of a computer mouse – and connects basically the same way as most, through a USB connection. It provides a quick and easy way for allowing people to “step in” or “step out” of a meeting (with status indicators showing whatever corresponding color). A press of the button can let users override full screen on the main display for presentation; a double tap of the button will pause what’s going on on the user’s screen so they can go about other computer business during a meeting.
