Mark Ureda Joins Bose Professional’s Board of Directors

As a newly independent business, made possible by its new investor Transom Capital Group; Bose Professional announced it will deepen its efforts and focus on technologies and solutions that enable their customers to create incredible audio solutions faster and more efficiently.

With this new focus and attention, the Framingham, Mass.-based company appointed Mark Ureda to its Board of Directors. Per a statement, Ureda has nearly four decades of experience across a variety of strategic leadership roles. These include senior vice president of Harman International and VP of JBL. He also served as VP of corporate strategy and technology at Northrup Grumman. As business advisor, Ureda will enrich the extensive professional audio experience in Bose Professional’s leadership team.

Looking to the Future

For more than 50 years, Bose Professional business has developed audio systems that are easy to design, install and operate for different applications. Through their partnership with AV integrators, system designers, installers and consultants, Bose Professional says it thus engineers and develops solutions that create unforgettable audio experiences. These include in the workplace, houses of worship, universities, restaurants and retail stores. Other spaces comprise hotels, performing arts centers, stadiums and more.
