LEA Professional announced its partnership with Quebec, Canada-based AV distributor SFM. Per a statement, this partnership will bring LEA’s rich technology catalog, featuring industry-first advancements in intelligent IT solutions, best-in-class DSP, and smart power management, to customers up north.
For more than 45 years, SFM says it has been dedicated to achieving one goal: helping its customers meet and achieve their own. This new partnership will thus significantly contribute to this goal, says the company. Here, SFM will now offer customers LEA Professional’s Network Connect series of professional amplifiers and companion Dante Connect series featuring Dante and AES67 connectivity. These series enable integrators to utilize cloud-based remote control, monitoring, notifications and more from any internet-enabled device, allowing them to stay connected anywhere in the world.
“We share the same goal as our customers — to exceed expectations, and we are constantly seeking partners who uphold these standards,” says Sami Midani, director of business development at SFM. “LEA has an exceptional and extensive technology catalog that will bring variety and strength to our Canadian customers.”
LEA Professional adds that its smart amplifiers have several features such as onboard 96kHz DSP, LEA Cloud connectivity, WebUI, third-party API control, real-time load monitoring, Lo-Z/70V/100V selectable by channel, Smart Power Bridge technology, event and fault monitoring, and a high-efficiency power design. The amplifiers also feature 3,000-speaker tuning presets and LEA’s advanced amplifier control software, SharkWare.
“Canada is a key area of growth for us as we enter a new year,” adds Scott Robbins, VP of sales at LEA Professional. “This partnership will enable us to tap into SFM’s established network that has been growing for nearly 50 years. We are closing out a great 2024 with yet another outstanding partnership added to our ever-growing network.”
