KOA Electronics Distribution has appointed Timo Hildebrandt as senior director of sales and operations.
Hildebrandt will oversee operations from KOA’s headquarters in Panorama City, with branches throughout southern California and Las Vegas, NV reporting directly to CEO Anton Tomassian.
With over two decades of experience in the consumer electronics and distribution industry, Hildebrandt has successfully navigated various leadership roles, including operations and territory management, vendor relations and purchasing, says KOA Electronics.
His entrepreneurial spirit led him to found a specialty AV company focused on automation, after which he transitioned into the distribution sector, where he played key roles in integrating legacy systems post-acquisition. Hildebrandt’s strategic approach has consistently driven business growth, earning him recognition in the industry, including being named among the “40 Under 40″ by Dealerscope in 2016. When not leading teams to success, he enjoys time with his family, often retreating to the lake for relaxation.
