Earlier this month Yamaha pledged its commitment to the unified communications (UC) market with the development of a dedicated UC department, Yamaha UC. Now the Revolabs parent company is backed up the claim by announcing that Yamaha UC has teamed with Microsoft to make the 1000MS Speakerphone certified for Skype for Business.
Yamaha acquired meeting room communication solution manufacturer Revolabs in 2014. Just this past year, though, during Enterprise Connect Orlando 2017, the Japanese electronics giant seemed to shift toward branding some meeting room solutions as Yamaha as opposed to Revolabs.
