Famous for its large venue touring systems, the California audio company is diversifying its product selection with a unique in-ceiling loudspeaker line called Ashby. The self-powered speakers provide a choice of the 5-inch 5C model and the 8-inch 8C models, which it says are designed to deliver a wide soundstage for a variety of applications such as houses of worship, conference room and public locations, including train and bus depots. The UL compliant Ashby line features a concentric design and new waveguide that optimizes the speakers’ dispersion.
