Aurora Multimedia, the Morganville, N.J.-based, AV solutions manufacturer, has introduced VPX Series (1G AV over IP) with BT-AC1 – the first and only Bluetooth Auracast broadcast audio for AVoIP.
It can transmit one way audio to thousands of devices capable of receiving Auracast like cell phones, headsets and hearing assist devices. It can transmit the audio as far as 656-feet (200 meters) based on environment and connecting equipment capability. The BT-AC1 will also work with all existing VPX installs, says Aurora Multimedia.
This technology is ideal for conference rooms, restaurant/bars, education, airports, courtrooms, council chambers and the like. The audio can even be broadcasted in a multitude of languages if desired.
