Does the content need to differ by screen location? If the screens need to all have differing content, then a different strategy needs to be employed. This is typically a server client type of topology with a signage server living at the management or main facility location and then connected to individual players or PCs that are dedicated to a single screen or group of screens with the same purpose. Depending on the structure of the building, space concerns and heating issues, these individual players or PCs can either live in a rack room and the video extended out from there, or they can live behind the screens and be connected back on the data network.
